Arts and Cultural Alliance plans for first art show fundraiser

The Elizabethton Arts and Cultural Alliance is planning its first 6×6 Art Show Fundraiser, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will be hosted by August Muse at 518 E. Elk Avenue.
Every $20 artwork purchased supports community programs, public art, and future exhibitions. The 6×6 exhibition brings together art works made and donated by local artists of all ages. “This is an amazing opportunity to own an original piece of art created by someone in our region,” said Nash Acuna, President of the Elizabethton Arts and Cultural Alliance.
Sponsors of the event are Northeast Community Credit Union and Carter County Drug Prevention Coalition.
