Lady Cyclones drop non-conference match to Greene Devils

Lady Cyclones lose in three sets to the Greene Devils on Monday night.
The Elizabethton Lady Cyclones traveled to Greeneville to take on the Greeneville Greene Devils losing in three sets to  20-25, 20-25 and 21-25.
Gracie Kirsch led the Lady Cyclones offense with seven kills followed by Karie Merritt with five and Zoe Proffitt with three. The defense was led by Jayci Bowers who had 18 digs followed by Bailee Vanhuss with 15 and Zyleigh Bates with 14. The non-conference loss lowers Elizabethton’s record to 6-9 overall and 2-4 in conference play. The Cyclones are currently in fourth place in the Three Rivers Conference. Elizabethton hosts Sullivan East in Conference play on Tuesday night and travels to Unicoi County to take on Conference foe Unicoi County Blue Devils on Wednesday night.
