Gray man charged with aggravated domestic assault, Schedule I, II, VI drugs

WCSO Deputies charged Antonio Moore, 39, of Gray, with aggravated domestic assault, along with Schedule I, II and VI drug violations stemming from a Sunday, Sept. 18 incident.
According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies responded to a domestic assault call on Ben Jenkins Road in Gray. Moore apparently broke a bedroom window to gain access into the residence and began fighting with the victim. The altercation continued throughout the house and into the basement where the suspect picked up a knife and cut the victim’s hand. The suspect was subdued by others in the house and was held until deputies arrived to take Moore into custody. The victim was treated for injuries at the scene. Moore was found to be in possession of Schedule I, II and VI drugs at the scene.
Moore was being held on a $60,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Sessions Court at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
