Brews & Tunes to host K.T. Vandyke

Brews & Tunes, one of Jonesborough’s outdoor music series, will host K.T. Vandyke in downtown Jonesborough Sunday, Sept. 25. Brews & Tunes takes place at the International Storytelling Center Plaza from 4 to 7 p.m. There is a rotating weekly food truck and a featured craft brewery. Food and beer will be served beginning at 4 p.m. and music starts at 5 p.m.

This week’s food truck is Island Vibe Grill Food Truck and the featured brewery is Depot Street Brewing along with a cider option.

K.T. Vandyke is a folk singer from southwest Virginia. Currently stationed in Bristol, Va., he has been performing in the greater Appalachian region and neighboring metropolitan areas for more than a decade. A seasoned performer and multi-instrumentalist, Vandyke can be found performing as a solo songwriter or as one-half of the country swing duo, Virginia West. Throughout the last several years he has been affiliated with Johnson City indie-rock acts Pocket Sand and Floyd Strange.

This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating.
