Jack Burchfield, 89, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022. He was the son of the late Conley and Lovada Burchfield.
Jack enjoyed fishing and keeping a clean car. He had a way of making people laugh and was loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Burchfield, who passed away May 22, 2010; three brothers, Phil Burchfield, Kyle Burchfield and Gary Burchfield; and one sister, Wanda Bulla.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jenny Lou Skalicky (Dan), Byron Lawrence (Lisa), Jack Burchfield, Mack Burchfield, Kellie Davidson (Tony) and Kim Leach; and his grandchildren, Cody Nidiffer, Amy Gravitte, Andrew and Luke Lawrence, Kayla Pantas, Lauren Burchfield, Dusty Burchfield, Colby Davidson, Breanna and Danielle Leach. He is also survived by three brothers, Ray Burchfield, Lynn Burchfield and Wayne Burchfield; two sisters, Gail Perkins and Charlotte Jones; several nieces and nephews; and his four-legged friend Tia.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 30, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9 a.m. Pallbearers will be his two sons, Jack Burchfield and Mack Burchfield, son-in-law, Tony Davidson, and three grandsons, Cody Nidiffer, Dusty Burchfield and Colby Davidson.
