Church of Jesus
Brother Harold Lam and his wife will preach at the Church of Jesus, 809 W. Main St., Johnson City, Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m.
Lam has held tent crusades for many years and has a special ministry and concert for the lost and for the healing of God’s people.
Pastor Brian Cloyd and the congregation invite the public to attend.

First Methodist
The Hanging of the Greens will be held at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, at 6 p.m. Sunday.
In addition to singing and scripture reading, the sanctuary will be decorated and hearts will be prepared for the Advent season of expectation.
The Hanging of the Greens is a beautiful, inspirational and informational worship service that speaks and sings of the symbols of the Savior’s birth.

Grace Baptist
The Hanging of the Greens will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Grace Baptist Church, 114 Broad St.
The public is invited to join the congregation as they begin the Advent season with traditional carols and Scripture reading.
The Rev. Travis Tyler is pastor.

New Liberty Freewill
This Sunday, the New Liberty Revival Choir will be in charge of the 11 a.m. morning worship service and Rev. Wesley Duncan will be preaching during the 6 p.m. evening worship service. Also, local singing group Sacred Harmony will be kicking off the celebration of Christ’s birth Wednesday, Nov. 30, singing songs of the Christmas season.
Make plans to come out and enjoy all these special services.
The church is located in the Stoney Creek community at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have both an in-person and on-line worship service Sunday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “A Kin-dot of Weeds” based on Mark 4:30-32.
Adult Forum and Youth Group will meet in person and online.
