Carter County Youth Basketball League’s season started off with a bang. With games at Hunter, Central, and Hampton, you would see all kinds of basketball action throughout the day, from blowouts to one-point games. Star Photographer Tyler Scalf was present at Hunter and Hampton Elementary Schools to share the action with Star readers Winners for the day were Unaka PW 1, Hunter Cadet 1, Keenburg Jr. Cadet 1, Hunter PW 2, Hunter Cadet 2, Hunter Jr. Cadet 2, Keenburg Jr. Cadet 2, Cloudland Cadet 2, Bulldogs Jr. Cadet 2 and Bulldogs Jr. Cadet 4.
