• Friday, December 2
The Elizabethton Senior Center, 428 East G St., will hold a Christmas Karaoke Fundraiser from 8 to 11 a.m. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a Hot Breakfast Buffet and Christmas Karaoke. Tickets are available for $10 or you can pay at the door. If you would like to sponsor a senior, please let the Center know! All contributions will go towards the senior center’s programming and operational costs. There will be live music featuring Michael Hawkins. For more information, call (423) 543-4362.

• Saturday, December 3
The Kingsport Farmers Market Association’s Annual Christmas Craft Show will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are looking for some really neat homemade items come see us! You’ll find a variety of handmade crafts, along with yummy fruits and veggies, woodcrafts, leathercrafts, candles, quilting, jewelry, jams, jellies, breads and sweets galore! The Kingsport Farmers Market is located at 308 Clinchfield St., Kingsport.
Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., will hold its traditional Christmas meal at 4 p.m. On the menu will be turkey, ham, mashed potatoes/gravy, dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans, slaw, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, dinner rolls and a large assortment of homemade desserts. Music will be provided by “Dan and Kitty Surber” and The State Line Band from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Come early and enjoy a great evening with friends at Boozy Creek! Weigh-in begins at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
