Eight bylaw changes to be considered
The TSSAA Legislative Council will meet on Dec. 8 at the Doubletree Hotel in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The meeting is set to begin at 9:00 AM.
The Council will vote on eight potential changes in the TSSAA Bylaws. The proposals were discussed with administrators of member schools in East, Middle, and West Tennessee at the Regional Meetings that were held in early November.
The addition of Boys’ and Girls’ Lacrosse will be discussed again by the Council. These items were tabled from a previous meeting.
In new business, the Council will vote on a proposal to remove the current requirement to request approval for jamborees. The addition of a first practice date for the sport of bowling will be considered as well.
