Gray man charged with four counts of aggravated assault

JONESBOROUGH — Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Charles Roy Rigsby, 78, of Gray, after he threatened four people with a firearm.
According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies responded to the 100 block of North Creek Drive in Gray shortly after 1 p.m. on Dec. 6. Rigsby had brandished a gun at all four victims during a verbal argument. Officers met Rigsby in Gray, recovered the weapon and transported him to the Washington County Detention Center without incident.
He is being held on a $40,000 bond and was arraigned on Dec. 7 in Sessions Court.
