Carter Christian
Carter Christian Church, 1765 Highway 91 (Stoney Creek) will have a Community Candlelight and Communion Service Saturday, Dec. 24, at 8 p.m.
Everyone is invited.

First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have services Sunday at 9:45 a.m. followed by Bible School with classes for all ages.
Bible study is held on Wednesday evening.
There will be a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24.
One service will be held Christmas Day at 11 a.m.

New Liberty
This Sunday, the New Liberty Revival Choir will present a Christmas concert at the 11 a.m. service.
The church family will have Christmas caroling at 5 p.m. for church family shut-ins. Everyone is invited to come and participate in these Christmas activities.
The church is located in the Stoney Creek community at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.

Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church, 113 Avon St., will have their monthly food pantry Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m.
Those in need of food are invited to attend.

Zion Baptist
The adult choir of Zion Baptist Church will present the Christmas musical titled “The Greatest Story Ever Told” Saturday, Dec. 17, and Sunday, Dec. 18, at 6 p.m. both nights.
The church will also have a very special Christmas Day worship service on Christmas Day at 11 a.m. There will be no Sunday School or evening services on Christmas Day. The church is located at 1982 Gap Creek Road.

Grace Baptist
Grace Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir will present the cantata “His Name Shall Be” on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 9 a.m.
A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be held Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. The Lord’s supper will be served, and a message will be presented by the pastor.
On Christmas Sunday, Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. followed by a worship service at 11 a.m.

Calvary Baptist
The youth of Calvary Baptist Church will present a Christmas program Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The program is titled “Strangers At The Inn.”

First Free Will Baptist
A Christmas candlelight service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton, with communion, carols, and a message.
Christmas Sunday, only one service will be held at 11 a.m.

Union Baptist
“Welcome To Christmas at Bethlehem Inn” by Jeffrey Gates Slaughter will be performed at Union Baptist Church at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The play is the story of a visit with the innkeeper, Jacob, and his family at they witness the greatest story ever told. The theme of the play is that Jesus, the son of God, comes at the most unexpected time, in the most unexpected places, and to the most unsuspecting people.
Union Baptist is located at 1411 Highway 321, Hampton.

Isaiah 117 Christmas Concert
The Isaiah 117 Benefit Christmas Concert will be held this evening (Saturday) at 6 o’clock at First Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
The concert will feature Loretta Bowers, Fred Goodwin, John Bunn, Gary Rice, Jamie Schaff, Beth Stevens, Jared Erwin, Larry Jeffers, Alex Riddle and First Baptist Church Youth Praise Team, Bowers family and friends, and many others.
A love offering will be received to benefit the Carter County Isaiah 117 House.
Also, canned vegetables will be received to help with the First Baptist Food Hub.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have both an in-person and online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.
Christmas will be celebrated with a service of lessons and carols featuring the choir, handbells, and guest musicians.
Worship will be followed by a Christmas celebration and lunch in the fellowship hall.

First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, will have a Christmas Eve Communion Service at 5 p.m. Dec. 24.
Christmas Day worship service will be at 10 a.m. There will be no Sunday School.
