January concert at Bonnie Kate Theater will will feature Preston Benfield with Nathan Hardin

Preston Benfield with Nathan Hardin will be featured in concert at the Bonnie Kate Theater Jan. 20 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.
Preston Benfield is a graduate of Cloudland High School, and is an up and coming country music artist, who has taken his musical talent and turned it from a hobby into something bigger. He draws inspiration for his music from legends like Merle Haggard and Keith Whitley.
Nathan Hardin is a singer-songwriter from Elizabethton. His music comes across as being authentic and honest. Hardin says his songs are often a brutal representation of himself.

The Bonnie Kate Community Theater will also host upcoming auditions for “Seussical” on Jan. 8 at 3 p.m., and January 9, 10, and 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Auditioners will be taught a simple dance routine and will perform it in groups of three and four.
Auditioners will also be taught several songs from the show, depending on whether or not they want a part in the chorus/ensemble, or are trying out for a lead role.
There will be casting for elementary age children, teens, and adults, and entire families.
