As the 2022-23 basketball regular season heads to a quick end, it was time to recognize senior members of the boy’s and girl’s basketball teams as well as senior cheerleaders when the Cyclones played host to Tennessee High.
Each student athlete and their family were recognized between the girl’s and boy’s contests as the Lady Cyclones recognized six senior players while the boys honored three. There were also two cheerleaders cheering in their final games for the Cyclones.
On the girl’s side, Lina Lyon, Olivia Holly, Renna Lane, Maddie Fowler, Sage Nave, and Katie Lee received flowers and gifts from teammates.
Currently, head coach Lucas Andrew’s senior-led Lady Cyclones are ranked fourth in the state and will be entering the upcoming district and regional tournament looking for a second consecutive trip to the state championships in Murfreesboro.
Cyclones boy’s coach Lucas Honeycutt has only three seniors on this year’s squad, including Dalton Mitchell, Nate Stephens, and Nathan Tshuma.
Wrapping up their final year of Cyclone Cheer are Maely Ingram and Haley Stressmann.
