The Boys would start the game with a 16-2 run and go into the locker room up by 20 before the Seahawks would go on a late run with many of Happy Valley’s reserves playing to make the game appear closer than it was. Hunter Moody would get things going for the Warriors with a stick-back to spark the early run. Cole Deakin would hit a couple of three-pointers later in the first period to make it 22-8 going into the second period. Ron Paul Parker would come off the bench and flash some athleticism scoring ten in the period and James Murray would follow with a three-pointer of his own to send the Warriors into the locker with their 20-point lead.
Coach Shane Williams would substitute freely all night, getting many of his reserves quality minutes. Dakota Grindstaff would hit a couple of NBA distance three-pointers and finish the night with three three-pointers total; not to be left out, Donovan Maxwell would hit would his own three-pointers to keep it at a 20-point game going into the final period. The Seahawks would go 9/13 from the charity stripe to close the gap in the final period, but Grindstaff and Dylan Furr’s baskets would keep them at a comfortable distance.
Cole Deakins would lead all scorers with 15-points in limited minutes and  Ron Paul Parker would chip in 14 coming off the bench, while Dakota Grindstaff would finish the night with 13.

The Lady Warriors would quickly get out of the gates and not look back in this one. Kadie Bailey, who scored her 1000th  career point Saturday night against University High,  came out firing from long distance and would pace her team to a 19-6 first-period lead. Defensively the Lady Warriors would hold the Lady Seahawks to just 13 points in the first half.
Bailey would hit four three-pointers in the contest and finish the night with a game-high 25 points, Maley Guy would chip in 12 and Marcida Moore would add seven points with several key assists. Both Warriors varsity teams will host Johnson County on Tuesday night.
