What else would you expect than to see Alana Parsons’s first hit of the season go over the right-center field fence at Tusculum? The Lady Bobcats pulled off a great win in Greenville, winning 6-1. Parsons, who belted homers in the District finals and won the Regional for Unaka last year with a 7th-inning blast over the left field fence, gave fans a memory that will last for decades.
Parsons’s homer came in the fourth inning as she was credited with two RBIs. Parson plays third base for the Bobcats and has a 571 slugging percentage this year while playing in three games. The Bobcats won four in a row before losing to Tusculum 1-0 on Friday. The next games for the Lady bobcats will be this weekend in Newberry, South Carolina, with two games against Fairmont State and two games against Newberry.
Lees McRae has wins over Tusculum, Limestone and Hillsdale (2) this season.
