The Carter County Imagination Library Board announces that this year’s Educator Hall of Fame celebration will be held April 13 at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Tickets for the event are $20 and can be purchased at the Elizabethton Public Library, Chamber of Commerce, or from any of the board members.
Four honorees will be announced, which will include one deceased educator and one retired living educator from both the city and county. Nominations must be received by March 17.
The public is invited to nominate a favorite teacher, who has touched their life in a special way. Simply fill out a nomination form and return it to the Elizabethton Library or to Lilo Duncan, 190 Mayfield Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643. Also, nominations may be submitted to the Elizabethton City School website at www.ecschools.net.
