The Adult Services Program at the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library will offer two new programs this month, which will provide life-saving information.
The first will be “You Can Save A Life With A Spray,” a program about Naloxone, a nasal spray which can reverse the effect of an opioid overdose and save a life.
The Naloxone program will be presented Monday, March 27, at 4 p.m. at the library.
The second program is a Heart Healthy Class taught by Rachel Dean, director of the University of Tennessee Extension office in Carter County. Dean also teaches family and consumer science courses for the extension office.
Her program will be on how to live a heart-healthy lifestyle, offering nutrition tips and more.
The Heart Healthy program will be presented Wednesday, March 28, at 2:30 p.m. at the library.
