David Charles Ellis, 60, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at his residence. He was born November 27, 1962 in Elizabethton to the late Conley C. Ellis and Helen Ann Bowman Ellis Shipley.
David was a 1981 graduate of Elizabethton High School and East Tennessee State University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. He was employed at Nuclear Fuel Services, Erwin, and Oak Ridge Nuclear Facility. David loved cats and tigers.
Survivors include his sister, Connie Ellis, Elizabethton, and a niece, Lilly Marie Ellis.
A graveside service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 2, in the Ellis Cemetery, Sapphire Road, Elizabethton. Friends may visit with the family at the home of his sister, Connie Ellis. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
