ARM Food Pantry and Clothing Closet (a United Way affiliate and partner of Second Harvest Food Bank) will have a fundraiser that they hope will answer the question “How far would you go for an ice cream cone?”
The fundraiser, the second annual Double DQ Quest, will be held April 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The quest will send participants walking, running, or bicycling along the Second Annual DQ Quest.
Unable to walk, run, or bike? No problem. The event is handicap accessible and if you need to drive along the Elizabethton Highway to complete the quest, feel free to do so.
Whatever form of transportation used, participants will receive an event T-shirt at the beginning and an ice cream cone at the end.
Entry cost is $25 for adults and $15 for children. Money raised will benefit the needy in Carter County. To participate register at ticketstripe.com/doubledq2. Tickets may also be purchased in person at ARM Food Pantry, 714 W. C St., Elizabethton, between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesday. To guarantee your T-shirt, register before April 4.
