Calvary Baptist
Calvary Baptist Church will have an Easter egg hunt under the lights at T.A. Dugger Football Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 7.
There will be fun, crafts, and popcorn.
The stadium is located at 305 West E St.
All children are invited.

First Christian
First Christian Church, 513 Hattie Ave., will have worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. The pubic is especially invited to join the congregation for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday services.
Bible study is at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, announces several activities for Easter weekend.
A Good Friday service will be held Friday, April 7, at 7 p.m. and will feature the musical “In Christ Alone” and message of the cross by Scott Fisher, senior minister.
The musical features soloists Ruth Ann Cullop, Joel Norris, and Joseph Greenwell as well as a video presentation.
The Good Friday service is a joint venture with the Carter County Christian Men’s and Women’s Fellowship.
Saturday, April 8, an Easter egg hunt and cake walk for various age groups will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Rain or shine, the event will be held.
Easter Sunday, April 9, at 9:45 a.m., the musical “In Christ Alone” will be presented. This version will feature clips of Peter’s encounter with Jesus.
Everyone is invited.

First United Methodist
A Maundy Thursday Service will be presented at 6 p.m. April 6 at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. It will be a joint service with First Baptist Church and will include a re-enacment of the Lord’s Supper as part of the service.
A Good Friday service will be held at 7 p.m., and a sunrise service will be held Easter Sunday at 7 a.m. in the church’s Memory Garden.
Easter Sunday morning worship will be at 10 a.m.

Memorial Presbyterian
A Maundy Thursday service will be held at 7 p.m. April 6 at Memorial Presbyterian Church.
The public is invited.

Grace Baptist
Grace Baptist Church will have a sunrise service Easter Sunday at 6:45 a.m. at the Wilbur Dam Visitors Overlook.
Following the service, breakfast will be served in the fellowship hall.
Sunday School is at 9 a.m. followed by a combined worship service at 10 a.m.
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held Friday, April 7, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and will include the Easter story. To register for the event, go to elizabethtongrace.com

Lynn Valley Baptist
Lynn Valley Baptist will have a Maundy Thursday service at 6 p.m. April 6.
The public is invited.

Valley Forge Free Will
Valley Forge Free Will will have a sunrise service and breakfast at 7 a.m. Easter Sunday.
A Holy Week Revival will be held April 2-6. The guest speaker for the 10:45 a.m. service Sunday, April 2, is the Rev. Phil Hoskins. The Sunday evening service at 6 o’clock will feature the Rev. Ray Amos as speaker. The Valley Forge Praise Choir will sing at both services.
Monday through Wednesday services will be at 6:30 p.m. Guest speaker at the Monday service is the Rev. Jim McComas with the Edwards Family singing; Tuesday speaker is David Dugger with Tammy Robinette singing; the Wednesday service will feature the Rev. Wes Duncan with Loren Harris and the New Liberty Choir singing.
A special Maundy Thursday Communion Service with a live drama of the last supper will be held Thursday evening. The Valley Forge Praise Choir will sing.
The Rev. Randy Johnson is pastor.
Valley Forge Free Will is located at 1503 Riverview Drive.

First Free Will Baptist
First Free Will Baptist will have an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 8, at 10 a.m. followed by games and hotdogs.
An Easter sunrise service will be held at 6:30 a.m. Easter Sunday followed by Sunday School at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Nathan Jennings is pastor.

Willow Springs
Willow Springs Baptist Church Choir will present the Easter cantata “One Day” at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 9.
The choir is directed by Bobby Smith.
There will be no evening service.
Everyone is invited.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have both an in-person and online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.
Scripture reading this Sunday is John 1:29 and John 16: 1-11 followed by a sermon by the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt titled “God’s Changing Mind.”
Meditation is Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Thursdays with Jesus is the first Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Martin Hall.
