April 1 was an amazing day for me. The day started early for us as we traveled to the Book Lover’s Warehouse in Johnson City for my Saving Faith book signing. They had such a lovely place set up for me. I was nervous as it was my first signing, but I was also so excited.

I enjoyed meeting the other two authors that were also doing a signing there. All the employees at Book Lover’s Warehouse were so sweet to me. I loved being surrounded by all those books. I even found a couple to take home with me.

After the book signing, we arrived at the Renaissance Center in Kingsport for my book launch party. My husband and stepson wore a tux, and I wore my favorite dress. It was so much fun to dress up. We had refreshments and a violinist. We also had giveaways.

I was overwhelmed and honored that so many people came to the event. I was able to talk with many people and sign their books. It was so special that several people wanted their picture with me. My favorite part was when I did a reading from my book. I was actually reading the words that I wrote and published. It was an incredible feeling. The whole day was a lot of fun.

April 22 – My husband Tim and I will be at the Bristol VA Public Library in the J Henry Kegley meeting room from 1-4 p.m. We will be doing a joint book signing.
May 6 – We will be at the Almost Summer Block Party at 905 W. Watauga Ave., Johnson City, starting at 10 a.m.
