JOHNSON CITY – Contractors working on the West Walnut Street Corridor Redevelopment Project will close one lane of traffic in each direction on West State of Franklin Road between South Commerce and Buffalo streets Monday, April 24. The lane closure will remain in place for four to six weeks until related work is completed. During this timeframe the open lanes will shift based on the needs of the construction crew.

Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
