How to raise Monarch butterflies class planned at local library

For anyone who has or has ever had an interest in raising Monarch butterflies, there is a class for you.
A one-hour free class, “How To Raise Monarch Butterflies – A Step-By-Step Guide,” will be taught at the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library, 201 North Sycamore Street in Elizabethton, on Monday, May 22, from 4-5 p.m.
Instructors for the class will be Vera Peters and Kathy Campbell. The class will cover the butterfly life cycle, preparing the cage, finding Monarch eggs or caterpillars, caring for the caterpillar, chrysalis and care for the butterflies.
Although there is no charge for the class, space is limited and registration is required.
