River’s Edge Fellowship
A worship service remembering Jessica Hamby Keller Nickles will be held at River’s Edge Fellowship Saturday at 5 p.m.
Jessica died March 6 after battling breast cancer.
Family members wish to not only remember Jessica, but it will be an event where anyone who has lost a family member or friends can remember their loved one.
Food will be served, and there will be an open baptism for anyone who would like to be baptized. Just bring a change of clothes.
Pleasant Beach
Vacation Bible School will be held June 4-8 at Pleasant Beach Baptist Church from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each day.
The theme of the Bible School is “Dig for God’s Truth.”
The Bible School is for ages five through 12th grade.
Special events and program for teenagers.
The church is located on Watauga Road.
Siam Baptist
Siam Baptist Children’s Choir will present the musical “Under God’s Sea in 3D” Sunday at 6 p.m.
The musical by Celeste and David Clydesdale uses a sea theme to focus on three ways that God reveals Himself to his children. The first way is through creation itself.
The next is through the Word and finally, through redeemed lives.
Everyone is invited to attend the musical production.
Mitzi Hobbs is children’s choir director.

Friendship Free Will
Jeff and Shana Norris of Jeff Norris Music Ministries will be at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, Hampton, for the morning service at 10:30 a.m.
The church is located at 472 Highway 321, Hampton.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an in-person and online service Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service.
The pastor, the Rev. Brian Wyatt will present the sermon “Spiritual Practice of Simplicity” based on Matt. 8: 19-21.
Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Martin Hall and on Zoom.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 West F St.
First Christian
First Christian Church, 513 Hattie Ave., will have worship Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The congregation is doing a series titled “On Purpose,” following Mike Baker’s and Jason Sniff’s book.
Bible study is Wednesday at 6 p.m.
First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 and make an appointment.
