Jason David Fenner November 29, 1974 – June 5, 2023 – Husband, Father, Brother, Son, Uncle and Friend
Jason “Jay” David Fenner, 48, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, of natural causes. He was born November 29, 1974 in Tacoma, Wash., to Doris and David Fenner.
Jason was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and spent time studying at Northeast State and ETSU. Jason worked as a licensed journeyman electrician, allowing him the opportunity to travel and see much of the eastern U.S.
A hippie at heart, Jason loved the outdoors and spending time with his wife. He had a kind soul and is remembered fondly by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Fenner; his children, Cassidy Sierra, Chloe Elizabeth, Isaiah Cole and stepdaughter, Kendra Buckles; his parents, Doris Fenner, David Fenner, and stepmother, Gloria Fenner; his siblings, Becky (Deron) Anderson and Chris Fenner; his stepsisters, Laurel Pipkin, Amber Green and Cadee Spence; nephew, Christopher Fenner; mother-in-law, Sue Carden; stepgrandchildren, Chase Ayden, Benjamin Heath and Holston Cade; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jay was preceded in death by his daughter, Chelsea Marie, and the mother of his children, Angela Davis Fenner.
A private family service is being held on Saturday, June 10. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate continued thoughts and prayers.
