The Tri-Cities Civil War Round Table and the City of Kingsport Cultural Arts will help kick off this year’s Fun Fest in Kingsport with a “Ciivil War Evening” on July 10 at the Renaissance Center Theater in Kingsport.
The event is titled “Grant and Twain: The Men and the Memoirs,” a play by Living History Scholars Curt Fields and Warren Brown. The two American icons tell the little-known story of their friendship and the unlikely journey that leads to one of the greatest novels, and one of the most remarkable memoirs in military history.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Fun Fest store inside the Kingsport Chamber or at the theater ticket booth.
The Kingsport Renaissance Center Theater is located on the second floor at 1200 E. Center St., Kingsport.
