Staci Rodgers Arrowood, 51, of Jonesborough, Tenn., passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, after a brief illness at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born July 23, 1972 in Washington, DC to Gordon and Kate (Grindstaff) Rodgers.  

Staci was a lifelong resident of Elizabethton, Tenn., and a 1990 graduate of Unaka High School. 

Staci was a loving mother to Christian Rodgers, daughter to Gordon and Kate Rodgers, and was a loving friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Chelsa Grindstaff of Elizabethton; her paternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Rodgers of Maryland; her sister-in-law, Layla Rodgers; two uncles, Doug Fair and Donald Dykes; and a cousin, Lisa Pritchard.

Staci is survived by her son, Christian Rodgers of Elizabethton; parents, Gordon and Kate Rodgers of Elizabethton; brother, Chris Rodgers and special nephew, Elias Rodgers of Jonesborough; her aunts, Janice Fair and Imogene Dykes, both of Elizabethton; cousins, Dwayne Fair, Carrie Cagle, Donnie Dykes, Denise Ensor and Cathie Bentley; and her special family which includes Wendy Gass, Penny Eggers, Shalena Stevens, Regina Luttrell, Cathie Bentley and Michelle Meredith.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses in the ICU #3 at Bristol Regional Medical Center for all the love and care given to Staci during this time. Special thanks to Hope Rambow for all of her care for the family.

A celebration of Staci’s life will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 9, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton with Rev. Walker Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service, or at the residence of her mother at other times. The graveside service will follow in the Ensor Cemetery. In remembrance of Staci Rodgers’ life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
