A Gardening Seminar will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, at Sycamore Shoals State Park in Elizabethton from 9 a.m. until noon.

The seminar, free to the public, will be held in the community room at the park.

The subjects of the seminar will be Review of summer gardens – What went right and what went wrong; Plant a fall garden – any kind of vegetable is better than weeds; and Pruning of blackberries, blueberries, fruit trees and renovation of strawberries.

The seminar will be presented by Master Gardeners Ben Hunter and Cameron Coates.

The event is sponsored by the Northeast Tennessee Master Gardeners and Sycamore Shoals State Park.
