Poplar Grove Baptist
Special singing by the group, No Name But His, will be featured at the 11 a.m. service Sunday at Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
The pastor, the Rev. Eric Wright, invites the public to attend and worship in song.
Valley Forge Free Will
A benefit singing for Loaves and Fishes Outreach Ministry will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church. Featured will be the Valley Forge Praise Choir, the Carr Family, Joel Crisp, Loren Harris, and Jeff Snyder.
Loaves and Fishes is located at River’s Edge Fellowship at 1200 19-E Bypass. The ministry provides meals and food to those in need, and has been serving Elizabethton and Carter County since 2018. The ministry serves an average of 2,000 meals a month and gives out an average of 300 boxes of food twice a month.
The meal ministry serves families and individuals of the community by providing ready-to-eat meals, and is designed to ease daily burdens. This ministry is carried out by a network of volunteers, churches, and organizations who serve the community by meeting the practical needs of food preparation.
A love offering will be received at the singing.
Lynn Valley Baptist
A new session of Grief Share will begin August 8 at Lynn Valley Baptist Church. Sessions will be held each Thursday at 5:30 p.m. through November 7.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both a live and online service Sunday at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Laura Hicks Hardy will be the guest speaker, presenting the sermon “The Kingdom In A Seed” based on Luke 13: 10-21.
Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Martin Hall.
