Linda Faye Peters, known for her dedication as a newspaper delivery woman for more than 50 years and as an aide at Unaka Elementary for 12 years, embraced life with boundless energy. In 1986, alongside her husband, C.Y., she ventured into the fudge business, traveling to craft shows and sharing their delicious homemade fudge. Her warm smile and kind heart left a lasting impact on her community.
In late April, Linda Faye’s legacy grew even more special with the birth of her great-great-granddaughter, Ellie Sexton. Linda is pictured with her son, C.Y. Peters; granddaughter, Alice Peters; great-grandson, Will Sexton; and great-great-granddaughter, Ellie Sexton.
With five generations strong, Linda has become a symbol of love, strength, and resilience, passing down her values to Ellie, the newest addition to a proud and close-knit family.
