To the Editor:

It seems to me that Christians have a terrible dilemma in the upcoming election.

On the one hand, Harris seems to have made abortion on demand her signature issue. On the other hand, Trump flip flops so fast that I’m becoming dizzy. He has recently accused all Democrats of being in favor of post-birth infanticide. Indeed, Ralph Northam came terribly close to advocating for exactly that during his term as governor of Virginia, though he couched his statement in terms of “do not resuscitate if the parents don’t wish to.”

Concerning Donald Trump, in an interview with Tim Russert in October of ’99, Trump (ostensibly reluctantly) advocated for partial-birth abortion himself. Is the feigned reluctance enough to give him a pass? Decide for yourself.

This is really not that hard a decision for me. Charles Spurgeon once said, “Of two evils, choose neither.” I have no problem doing exactly that and leaving the consequences to Almighty God. Just wringing my hands, going to the polls, and voting AGAINST someone is not good enough for me!
