Robert Harold Stines, 59, of Morganton, N.C., passed away Friday, August 30, 2024.

Robert was born September 30, 1964 in Elizabethton, Tenn. He was a loving husband to his late first wife, Virgie Stines, and second wife, Kathy Stines. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Stines and Annie Stines; his sister, Crystal Stines; his nephew, Joshua Stines; and lifelong friend, Pam Murphy.

His surviving siblings include Glen Stines (Gloria), Paul Stines (Tina), Tammy Stines and Tabatha Hagy (Jason). In addition he is survived by nieces, Loretta McKinney (Jared), Natasha Vannoy (Clinton), Ashley Denny (Garret) and Brooke Shriver (Chris), and nephews, Justin Stines, Chris Stines (Megan) and Gregory Stines; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his caregiver, Jackie Little.

Robert was known for riding horses, riding motorcycles, working on cars, playing his guitar and singing, but most of all being with his family and friends.

The Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
