Disaster Recovery Center to open in Elizabethton for Tropical Storm Helene assistance

NASHVILLE – A Disaster Recovery Center will open in Elizabethton to assist Tennesseans affected by Tropical Storm Helene. The center will provide a space for residents to apply for FEMA assistance and access information and advice about community, state, and federal resources.
The Carter County center will open at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Carter County Public Library, located at 201 N. Sycamore St. in Elizabethton.
Hours of Operation:
- Opening Day: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET on Dec. 6
- Regular Hours: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET, Monday through Saturday
- Closed on Sundays
