The Tennessee Department of Education has released its annual list of Reward Schools for the 2023-24 school year, and Carter County Schools is proud to announce that Little Milligan Elementary and Cloudland High School have earned this prestigious distinction. These schools rank in the top 5% of schools across the state for student growth in academic achievement.

In addition to the Reward School honors, Carter County Schools achieved a Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS) Level 4 distinction for the 2023-24 school year. TVAAS measures students’ academic growth over time, providing valuable insights for educators to implement effective programs, focus resources, and ensure growth opportunities for all students.
