Milligan University celebrates commencement

Milligan University held its fall commencement ceremony Friday evening in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel. Over 80 graduates were awarded degrees.
The commencement service featured student engagement throughout the ceremony, with graduating students providing the prayer, scripture readings, and remarks for their peers.
This year’s speakers included Mary Kate Mosby, of Johnson City, who received a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree, and Josiah Loveall, also of Johnson City, who earned a Master of Science in Counseling degree. The faculty speaker was Dr. John Paul Abner, professor of occupational therapy, psychology, and counseling.
The December 2024 graduates included:
- Three Bachelor of Arts
- 20 Bachelor of Science
- One Bachelor of Social Work
- Four Master of Business Administration
- 13 Master of Education
- 13 Master of Science in Counseling
- 28 Master of Science in Occupational Therapy
- Three Education Specialist
