The Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter is hosting a special holiday adoption event on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering reduced adoption fees and festive fun for families and their pets.
During the event, adoption fees for all dogs and cats will be reduced to $25, providing an affordable opportunity to give a furry friend a loving home for the holidays.
As a special treat, Santa Claus and the Grinch will be on-site to take photos with pets, creating memorable holiday moments for families and their beloved animals.
“This event offers a wonderful opportunity for community members to give homeless pets the greatest gift of all – a loving forever home,” said Shelter Director Shannon Posada. “We encourage everyone to come meet our wonderful dogs and cats and consider making their holiday season extra special with the gift of adoption.”
The event will be held at the shelter, located at 135 Sycamore Shoals Drive in Elizabethton. Normal adoption rules will still apply to ensure each pet finds the right family.
