Christina Gail (Miller) Presnell

Christina Gail (Miller) Presnell of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, was taken from us unexpectedly on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the age of 53. Christina was born in Banner Elk, North Carolina, to the late Ronnie Miller and Ivory Holtsclaw. In addition to her parents, Christina was also preceded in death by her children’s father, David Presnell; her mamaw and papaw, Noma and Norman Miller and Wynona and Junior Holtsclaw.

Christina was a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend. She worked for Smart Auto and attended Fish Springs Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Roan Mountain. She loved animals of all kinds, music of all genres, and when she was younger, she loved riding horses and four-wheelers. Most of all, Christina loved her children and grandkids and making memories with them.

Those left to cherish and remember her include her beloved children, Shane Presnell, Nikkie Presnell and Kenzie Presnell; her grandchildren, Maleya Presnell, Madeline Presnell, Everett Presnell and Camdan Miller Eklund; her cousins, Carla Seroka, Misty McLaughlin, Tonia Cook and Lela Hughes, as well as many other cousins; her brother, Ed Miller; her sisters, Kim Estep and Heather Miller; her stepbrothers, Ricky and Randy Harris; family friends, William Oliver and Chad Street; and her partner, John Hicks, along with many other family members and friends—too many to name.

A celebration of Christina’s life will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Tetrick Funeral Home~ Chapel of Peace in Elizabethton with Pastor Stevie Guinn officiating. Christina’s son, Shane Presnell, will also be a speaker at the service. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m.
