Veterans in the area will have a chance to ask questions and receive more information about changes coming to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center during a Town Hall meeting this month.
The Mountain Home VA Healthcare System leadership team will be hosting two Veteran Town Halls to address some of the changes that have been taking place, address issues related to access of health care by veterans and to hear the comments and concerns of the veterans served by the system.
“The Town Halls are designed to be a listening forum that will allow veterans a chance to be heard and for VA staff to reaffirm their commitment to the mission and core values of caring for our nation’s heroes,” a statement released by the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center said. “There will be opportunities for general questions and if someone has personal, individuals concerns, support staff will be available to assist them.”
The Mountain Home VA staff will hold two Town Hall meetings – one for those served by Mountain Home and the surrounding area and one in the Knoxville area.
The Mountain Home meeting will be held on Sept. 26 from 1-3 p.m. at the VA Medical Center in Building 200 (the main hospital) Room A-061-K which is the conference center.
