Billy Lloyd Odom

Billy Lloyd Odom, 69, of Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord, Friday, January 23, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late James “Buster” and Maybelle Hamby Odom.
Mr. Odom served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was a retired fork lift mechanic. He was a member of Stoney Creek Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon for 34 years and was a Sunday School Teacher.
He loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was also an avid Red Skins fan.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandra Taylor Odom; his daughter, Jeannine Schueller and husband Tom, Charleston, S.C.; his son, Bill Odom, Elizabethton; a granddaughter, Sierra Gay, Elizabethton; a sister, Barbara Nave; a niece, Penny Kyte; a nephew, Jimmy Nave; and his special friends, Sadie and Gavin Shoun, Owen Taylor and Gracie Maupin.
Billy’s wishes were to be cremated and family and friends to get on with living until the glorious return of our Lord Jesus. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
