Hampton class draws praise from principal

Members of Hampton High School’s Class of 2014 will celebrate the end of their high school careers during the school’s graduation ceremony this evening.
The graduation will be held at 6 p.m. in the HHS gymnasium.
“We had a lot of high-performing students this year,” said HHS principal Jeff Bradley. “We had a large number of students taking dual enrollment and advanced placement courses.”
A total of 108 students will be graduating from HHS this year. Valedictorian will be Abigail Bennett, and salutatorian is Miranda Anderson.
The Top 10 Percent includes Miranda Anderson, Abigail Bennett, Chelsea Bradley, Kristopher Cole, Cameron Crain, David Finney, Jacob Irick, Michael Kelly, Justin Keyes, Michaela Matheson and Katie Burchett.
Students with 4.0 grade point averages were Miranda Anderson, Abigail Bennett, Chelsea Bradley, Kristopher Cole, Cameron Crain, David Finney, Jacob Irick, Michael Kelly and Justin Keyes.
2014 senior class officers are Justin Keyes, president; Katie Burchett, vice president and Miranda Anderson, secretary; Abigail Bennett, reporter and David Finney, treasurer.
