Three face drug-related charges

Three people were arrested on drug-related charges late Thursday night at a city residence.
Carter County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Mike Little said the department had been investigating reported drug activity at 1614 Dixon St. and on Thursday night officers executed a search warrant at the residence.
“We recovered quite a bit of prescription medication we believe was intended for resale in addition to a quantity of other street-type drugs,” Little said.
Little said that as part of the investigation, undercover drug buys had been conducted by the department at the residence. He said those drug buys led to the search warrant.
According to Little, those arrested Thursday night at the scene were:
• Lawrence Carriger Oliver, 46, 1614 Dixon St., who was arrested and charged with sale Schedule IV narcotics, possession Schedule II for resale, possession Schedule III for resale, possession schedule IV for resale, possession Schedule VI for resale, possession drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are manufactured or sold.
• Lisa Denise Oliver, 48, 1614 Dixon St., who was arrested and charged with maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are manufactured or sold.
• Gary Wayne Honeycutt, 51, 1614 Dixon St., who was arrested and charged with possession Schedule II, possession of Schedule IV, and
possession of legend drug.
As as a result of the investigation, Little said additional arrests are pending at this time.
After their arrests, Lawrence Oliver, Lisa Oliver and Honeycutt were transported to the Carter County Detention Center. Lawrence Oliver’s bond was set at $55,000, Lisa Oliver’s bond was set at $3,000, and Honeycutt’s bond was set at $15,000. All three subjects are scheduled to appear in Carter County General Sessions Court on August 26.
