An Elizabethton motel employee reported having his car stolen while working his shift at the motel.
According to an Elizabethton Police Department report, the employee parked his 1989 maroon Honda Accord in front of the Americourt Motel at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 11.
At approximately 3:15 p.m. he noticed his vehicle was missing. The employee told police he left the keys under the driver’s-side floor mat.
The Accord was a four-door model and had the spare “donut” tire on the rear passenger side.
The car also has minor damage to the rear bumper and trunk lid. The tag number is 873YWK.
