Milda Isaacs Stout

Milda Isaacs Stout, 96, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the home of her son, Bob, in Millersville, Md.
A native of Butler, Tenn., Milda was born on July 6, 1918, to the late Benjamin Harrison “B.H.” and Flora Inez Gregg Isaacs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shafter Stout, in 1994; a daughter, Peggy Stout Covert, in 1997; a grandson, Nickey Stout; and a brother, Haskell Isaacs.
Mrs. Stout retired from Shadowline of Boone, N.C., and was also a beautician. She was of the Christian faith and loved to work in her flowers, in her garden and canned many, many vegetables.
Survivors include her precious son, Bob Stout, Millersville, Md.; a granddaughter, Brandee Krieger and husband Lee; two great-granddaughters, Camby and Maddie; and one brother, Carter Isaacs and wife Marcella. Several nieces, nephews and many, many friends also survive.
A service to honor the life of Mrs. Stout will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Donnie Cable officiating. A eulogy will be given by her nephew, Steven Isaacs. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. The graveside service will follow in the Stout Family Cemetery in Butler, Tenn. Active pallbearers will be Milda’s friends and neighbors.
