John “Johnny” Berry Jr.

John “Johnny” Berry Jr., 58, of Elizabethton, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 3, 2014, at his residence. He was a native of Carter County and the son of the late John Berry Sr. and Louella Campbell Berry.
Mr. Berry was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time hunting and fishing.
Mr. Berry was a successful entrepreneur, a great cook, and he loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his two sisters, Tina Perkins and husband David, Elizabethton, and Cathy Pillion and husband Estel, Tazewell, Tenn.; two special nephews, Dayton Wayne Pillion, Whitesburg, Tenn., and David Perkins, Elizabethton, Tenn.; a niece, Kendra Perkins, Elizabethton, Tenn.; and several special cousins, Keith Bowers Sr., whom he grew up with and was like a brother, and his wife, Linda Bowers, Diana Bowers, Keith Bowers Jr. and Harvey Campbell, all of Elizabethton, Tenn.
A visitation service to honor the life of John “Johnny” Berry Jr. will be conducted from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 8, at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton, or at the residence of Keith Bowers Sr. at anytime.
