Gary Tipton Robinson, 62, of Hampton, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at his residence, following an extended illness.
Gary was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Mose and Pauline Robinson.
Mr. Robinson was a retired sheet metal mechanic and was a Christian.
Survivors include his wife and caregiver, Kennetha Johnson Robinson, of the home; one son; one daughter; one step-daughter; three grandchildren; one brother; and 10 sisters. Several nieces and nephews also survive, and his special companion, “K.G.”
A service to honor and celebrate the life of Mr. Robinson will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Danny Osborne and Rev. Johnny Hilton officiating. Music will be under the direction of Dale Williams. Friends may also call at the residence at anytime.
