Sheryl Kaye Maggard Andes, 63, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Sheryl was born on October 5, 1950 in Whitesburg, Ky., to the late Herald Maggard and Irene Maggard Hamon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Andes; a brother, Raymond Maggard; and a niece, Linda Faye.
Mrs. Andes had worked as a customer service representative and attended Pleasant Beach Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William Madison Andes, of the home; two daughters, Tracy Bishop and husband Jim, and Angie Oliver and husband Terry, all of Elizabethton; her grandchildren, Zack Quade, Scotty Oliver and Faith Bishop; her brothers and sisters, Jan Estep and husband Gay, Kingston, Tenn., Sis Adams and husband Jimmy of Illinois, Brad Maggard and wife Sherry of Kentucky, Phyllis Murphy of Kentucky and Linda Ann of Virginia; her step-father, Lorene Hamon; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Linda and Ed Gentry, Ron and Diane Kirby, Netta and Vicki, and Dale.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. The graveside service and interment will follow in the Stout Cemetery in the Elk Mills Community. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
