Steve Ward, age 58, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, in the Erwin Healthcare Center.
Steve was born in Elizabethton to the late Troy and Stella Potter Ward.
Mr. Ward was employed as a pipe fitter and as a tree trimmer. He was a member of the Motorcycle Sport Club in New York and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include two sisters, Nona Church and Darlene Guy, both of Elizabethton; and an aunt, Selma Dugger, of the Poga Community. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A gathering of remembrance to honor the life of Mr. Steve Ward will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel prior to the service Tuesday. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Guy.
