Carolyn Stubblefield went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, after an extended illness.
Carolyn was from the Benham/Cumberland, Ky., area and was the daughter of the late Tate and Lou Eva Stubblefield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Stubblefield; her twin, Catherine Littreal; and a niece, Tracy Littreal.
Carolyn was an active member of Harvest Baptist Church in Elizabethton and worked at the Southern Restaurant downtown for over 30 years, where she made people laugh and smile.
Carolyn lived at Ivy Hall Nursing Home until her death.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Needham; a special brother-in-law, Louis Littreal; a daughter, Teresa Stubblefield; a granddaughter, Anna Thomason; and a grandson and wife, Brandon and Brittney Maye. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Ms. Stubblefield will be conducted from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 18, at Harvest Baptist Church in Elizabethton. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.tetrickfuneralhome.com and signing the guest book.
