Joyce Lee White, 75, of Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at her residence.
A native of Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Octavia Smith Greiner.
Mrs. White was a homemaker and hair stylist. She was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James E. “Jim” White Sr.; four sons, James E “Jimmy” White Jr., Montie Christopher “Chris” White, Lynn Goodman and Peter David White; and a grandson, Timothy Arthur Cable II.
Survivors include her husband, Orval Pollard; two daughters, Robyn Carrier, Elizabethton, and Rhonda Cable, Hampton; and seven grandchildren, Trevor Cable, Adrianne Cable, Andrea Cable, Rachel Carrier, Travis Carrier, James Timothy White and Montie Christopher White Jr.
It was her wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
