Linda Ann Clark Vance, 101, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Pine Ridge Care Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mattie Tolley Clark.
Mrs. Vance was a homemaker. She also loved to sew. She was a Free Will Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tilson Tolley; her second husband, Jim Vance; two daughters, Ruth Tolley and Margie McClellan; two sons, Lewis Tolley and C.J. Tolley; and by seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Ellison and husband Albert, Hampton, and Lovie Tolley, Elizabethton; a son, Earnest D. Tolley and wife Roxie of Bristol; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vance will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow in the Clark-Tolley Cemetery, Fairview Section (Simerly Creek). Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
